CREATIVE WRITING/FILM STUDIES
|
Clark’s Creative Writing class allows students who have a passion for self-sustained writing to “run free” as they are allowed to create prose, poetry, and art designed by their own hands. Students will have opportunities to create new worlds from single ideas, recite their own poetry, and hone their writing craft by studying mentors who know the rules of language and how to break them for effect. Boasting a different experience every semester, no creative writing class has ever been the same, because this class is sustained by the students themselves.
In summary, the purpose of this class is to help you
Clark’s Film Studies class explores the role of cinema from all angles. Learn about the history of film and it’s influence on pop-culture. Watch a variety of films from-- Academy Award winners to pop-culture staples, and even student selected films-- and participate in class discussions about these films. And even get the opportunity to produce your own short. Anything is possible in this class! Open to Grades 11-12
