Art History AP

We study art from the beginning of humans to the present day, from all parts of the world. You will learn about 250 specific artworks. If you enjoy art or just enjoy learning about the world around you, you might enjoy this course! No previous art knowledge is necessary.
Open to students in grades 10-12 ** There is no ability to level change in this class. Students who enroll in the course will be expected to remain enrolled through completion of the course.

Orchestra is a class for students who have at least one year playing experience on violin, viola, cello, or bass. Clark has three levels of orchestra. The top two orchestras are audition only. No audition required for the 3rd orchestra.

Instrumental Ensemble
Students must be concurrently enrolled in a parent ensemble (band, orchestra, or choir) in order to join Instrumental Ensemble. This class is for students who want more focused individual/small ensemble practice time on music they are working on in band/orchestra/choir classes. Students will learn how to set practice goals, and practice more efficiently.

Dance
|
Dance Class is for everyone! If you have never stepped foot in a dance studio, if you think you can't keep a beat, or even if you've been technically trained in dance since you were 3 years old, this class is for you! In this course, we learn about different dance styles and participate in at least 2 performances a year. We have 4 levels of Dance, so you can take it every year and watch yourself improve! Each year in dance, you will gain new experiences, friendships, and gain confidence in yourself! Try it and you won't be disappointed!

Technical Theater

This course introduces all fields of design and construction for theatre. It is everything involved that the audience does not see before, during and after a theatrical performance. (ie: Set design, lighting, sound, stage crew, etc).
