Statistics AP/ Statistics AP Dual
The AP Statistics course introduces students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. There are four themes evident in the content, skills, and assessment in the AP Statistics course: exploring data, sampling and experimentation, probability and simulation, and statistical inference. Students use technology, investigations, problem solving, and writing as they build conceptual understanding. Students have the opportunity to earn college credit for the course through Dual Credit if they meet Northwest Vista Eligibility Requirements. Students who are not eligible to take the class for dual credit will have the opportunity to earn college credit for the course by taking AP exam in May.

Calculus AB AP/Dual or BC AP/Dual
Calculus is an advanced level math class taken after completing Pre-Calculus. Topics include the math needed for physics, engineering, life sciences, and college level business classes. AB Calculus is the same as Calculus I. BC Calculus, at Clark High School, is the same as Calculus I and II. Students can take either AB Calculus or BC Calculus. BC Calculus covers more material and goes at a faster pace than AB Calculus.
Both are taught at a college level and are available for Dual Credit. Dual credit Calculus is only available to students who took Pre-Calculus Dual Credit. Students who are not able to take calculus for dual credit can still earn college credit by passing the AP exam in May. Pre-requisite courses: Pre-Calculus .
